       Most of the loads that are widely used are nonlinear loads, such as rectifier, frequency converter, UPS, elevator, air conditioner, energy saving lamp, duplicator, domestic appliance, etc.. Such nonlinear loads will produce a large amount of harmonic current and input them to the power network, bringing in the distortion of voltage waveform and causing serious damages to the power network and all the back-end users. In addition, the impact and fluctuating loads, such as: electric-arc furnace, welding equipment, etc., will not only produce a large amount of higher harmonics , but also cause the quality problems of electric energy such as voltage fluctuation, flickering, and three-phase imbalance, seriously influencing the usage efficiency of electric energy.
         AP series of active power filters (APF) can dynamically filter out harmonics for 2-50 times in real time, with a valid filtering rate up to 95%, to rapidly dispose of flickering and voltage fluctuation, and possess strong expansion capability. The filters with different capacities can expand mutually, allowing the user to make more flexible harmonic treatment schemes.
